This year's West Michigan Honda Meet took place last weekend at Gingerman Raceway. With a good turn out and camaraderie between all the drivers, it really was a great time out there -- especially driving on the new high speed/off-camber section. We had a good amount of track time over the two days and I took a bunch of photos. I'm nearly done editing and they should be up in a day or two.

I have never been a every big fan of this "Stance" movement. I mean don't get my wrong when it's done right that shit can look sick, but it's just not me. I think its just a bunch of fan boy's that want to try and be cool with overly tight pants and lots of colors. I love 15's, five lug, and tire not offsets and 195's. It's a Honda not a drift car lol.

FF Squad has been holding it down since the 90's with just that in mind. All of their cars are clean purpose built Honda's all with legit parts, no bs parts here. This guy's have been a big inspiration for me and my Integra ever since I bought it back in 04 right out of high school. Seeing brothers Johnny and Lee cars in Super Street, back in 02 I believe, was like nothing I had ever seen before. They where in a more recent issue of Super Street, this time the whole crew was in full affect. These guy's will always be one of my favorite crews with their clean simple cars and hard driving.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 seemed to come and go pretty quick this year, as the coverage often does the same. People/publications seem to try and cover it just to get it over with and out of the way. Well looks this was just another typical blown out of proportion internet story. We all should know there is always two sides to a story and you just need to find the truth somewhere in the middle. AnJ is still around and most likely will be for awhile to come. I am sure this hurt them but obviously didn't destroy them. Lesson learned? Who knows really, lets just hope we don't hear more about this.

This is not something new. During 2009 summer there were posts going on in regards AJR and J's Racing already.

We have responded to previous posts and we have already told our side of the story. Anyways, for those who found this thread new and interesting, I will post our side of the story again and I will keep this simple.

Firstly, the parts we sold were supplied by J's Racing. Ever since day one when we imported the products, over 50% of the products we received did not have logos, originally packaging, catalogs or even stickers. I can speak for myself as well as AJR since I was the one who had packaged some of these products. We have been challenged by customers who had purchased these parts from us in the past saying these products were kind of sketch. There was nothing we could do if the products came to us in that condition.

Secondly, J's stated they had never made any "special edition" products like USDM versions, this was not true. There were numberous products made such as, USDM Grills, lip spoiler (GD3,FG2), GT wings (FG2)....etc. that's false info. Maybe if you got nothing to do you can run a search and you will find them.

Thirdly, there are many waranty issues, quality issues, fitment issues and missing components with the parts...............etc. JUST SEARCH on any Honda forums, you will find them. Broken or defected products never been replaced nor warranteed by the manufacturer. Those waranteed products were covered by AJR itself by paying out of it's own pocket.

Fourthly, J's Racing claimed that AJR has been selling knock off J's Racing products. Well, if the supplier supplied their products with no packaging, stickers or badgings, and denying the authenticy, what should we do??? Now this situation ended up like this.

I have been working at AJR since 2008 and I have not seen a single knock off branded product while I was doing all AJR's inventory and shipping work back at that time. I am not trying to defend the company that I work for since I can just simply pack and go without giving a damn, BUT if AJR has to be bad mouthed for no reason, I think I have to stand up for it.

Once last thing regarding to Mr. J's letter, if everything is true, AJR should have closed down and wait to get sued instead of kept up and running.

CRAZU 88 X Touge Factory @ Blackhawk Farms Raceway

A couple weeks ago we joined a few of the guys over at Touge Factory in a suspension testing and wheel swap session at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This marked Michio's third track event in a three-week span and he showed up this time with four special guests... thanks to Tomasz.

Overall, the atmosphere was pretty chill and there was a good turn out, including participants of all ages with a wide arrangement of cars. It doesn't happen everyday, but it's kind of a neat sight when you see someone easily in their late 50s, on the ground working on a circuit-prepped EF hatch, and then driving it all out through the course during their next session. Makes me hope my Honda, and the Earth's dependence on crude oil, both still exist when I'm getting to a similar age.

This year's TOP SETUP BBQ was an even more low key affair than that of the usual, but nonetheless a good time. And what would a good Chicago-area meet be without a couple Risky Devils crashing the shindig? In other words, some people played, "It's my turn to sit in Mr. Chob's S14/street beast," for awhile -- hahaha. Too bad he got rid of his Type R, otherwise I would have joined in on the fun.

December 13, 1985 - July 24, 2009

In memory of losing our friend Minh P. Dinh, all of CrazuKnights, Risky Devil, and Ethiks got together for a memorial cruise in his honor. It was quite the site to see as forty or so of Chicago's hottest cars took up all three sometimes five lanes down I90 at 45mph. This whole experience has been very eye opening for all of us and will not be soon forgeten. Once again big thanks goes to AJ of ILL Photography for the photos.

This cruise also marked the first time, my little brother, 3L has driven his 240 on a cruise in over a year and a half.

FEEL's FD2(s)

For the past few weeks I've been on the hunt for a new Type-R to post with that extremely aggressive style that I'm ever after. But when it comes to the FD2, there really aren't that many of them surfacing that truly exude what I'm looking for. So while I was searching for this Mugen RR that I came across the other day and mistakenly didn't save the photos [it was lowered, different wheels, canards, other added aero, etc.], I randomly fell upon some blogger coverage of a recent Honda Twin Cam meeting. I immediately/anxiously started to click through the different galleries posted looking for the circuit-prepped FEEL's FD2 demo car.

Honestly, I haven't seen much, if any, coverage of this car since TAS09, which is a shame because it stood out as one of the most in-your-face FD2's out then. And when I Heart Honda came around, unfortunately FEEL's didn't. Thankfully it was seen/captured here with it's practical street version twin, which was equipped with a full interior, different mirrors/headlights, and a completely different FEEL's goodie package under the hood.

Seriously, other than the shaved taillights, which still semi-get to me, these are my favorite FD2s out there so far. But, I'd still like to see something compete with it. Perhaps a full demo version come from MAX Racing? Or better yet, RS-K? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Nice little video of Charlie, and the Top Setup CRX, doing his thing around Autobahn. The car was and still is being dialed in, as you can see in the video that car was a handful to drive. After this was shot on day 1 Charlie softened up the rear sway bar for day two, which as I was told has solved a lot of oversteer issues.
