Garage Work x V.M.R.C. DC2 /// FF HONDA Mobara /Honjo style

Chiba-prefecture, Garage Work x Vega Muruko Racing Club DC2. Perhaps the most attractive/perfect/rad/sinister DC2 my eyes have yet to come across; SSR type-Cs, RAYS CE28Ns, Racing Hart type-C4s, Silkroad canards, Kent Works titan muffler SGR SPL, Voltex type-v wing, MAX Racing hood and front w/ Spoon lip, Zeal rear, G-Corporation tails, HPI acrylic windows, Cusco 4-pt. roll cage and L.S.D., TEIN Type HTs, JUN hyper clutch kit, Project Mu N1-Racing brake system, etc.; Mobara Circuit/Honjo running.

------------------------------------------------

Bonus Mobara Circuit / Honjo life:
Continuing on, I figured I'd showcase some of the friends/competitors I found on the V.M.R.C. member's blog, all with equally as aggressive builds. Check out the lineup (and desirable aero) from tuning shops Garage Work and Yellow Factory, as well as a few others/privateers:

I don't even know what to say, other than; inspiration bleeding profusely from this post.

Charlie BOY!

More coverage of 2008's Button Willow Super Lap Battle Finals showed up in a recent issue of CAR BOY, a Japanese enthusiast mag, which featured a shot of my good man, Top Setup's own, Charlie Rhyu standing next to his current project, the white Top Setup CRX. He posted these photos of the issue up on Hybrids forum, and I just had to feature them here. Congrats Charlie, (not to mention my girl, Ashley Sarto, too, who is also seen on the same page [the Hankook beauty on the left]).

Plus, I suppose it'd be a good time to mention that he's been working on a new shop website that, from what I've heard, will be up and running soon. So be sure to check over there in the up coming weeks, because I've also heard that there are some upgrades for the CRX on the way for the 2009 season. Can't wait to see what he's been cooking up.

Again, Cheers to you Charles,
-Nick

EXCEL, Spirit of VTEC, DC2

I really like this one, especially the 20mm overfenders. SSR Type Cs (16x8), Buddy Club P-1s (16x7), Enkei ES tar macs (16x8), 5mm Sato Seiki factory wheel-spacers, a J's Racing 60RS, a Blitz aluminum radiator, a Cusco L.S.D., a 10-pt cage, a Lane crossbar, a Voltex wing, a front splitter and canards, a VISION adjustable rear upper arm and circuit link kit, a J's racing roll center adjuster and a JIC negative upper arm all add to the hotness - among other things.

Yohei Nishino, Alex Motorsports EK9

Yohei Nishino pilots the Alex Motorsports EK9; his day-to-day occupation: Tire Manufacturer Test Driver. Feeling envious of the lifestyle, and maybe the specialized bucket, too. Regardless, this guy is a champion - seriously. A gymkhana champ that is. (Examples: 2005 JMRC Kanto middle gymkhana series - two ranked finishes, and JMRC Chiba gymkhana series victory; 2006 JAF all-Japan gymkhana championship SA1, six ranked finishes; 2007 JAF all-Japan gymkhana championship SA1, seven ranked; 2008 JAF all-Japan gymkhana championship SA1, three ranked). In 2009, Nishino will pilot the FD2. Do you wonder how he will do, or can you just assume at this point?

Randomness Six

I've been sitting on these photos for awhile, but this small grouping of streetable Type Rs is quite nice. Pick your flavor:
I can't wait for small, random summer night meet ups,

Remember this guy...

Well he...
Yeah, he did. Must be nice rockin' some Takatas in an RR,

Update: Oh, and, I must apologize for my lengthy absence during what quickly became all of February. The workload with school is far greater than I had originally imagined, but I've been sitting on a decent amount of material worth sharing and I've recently come across some new stuff that'll likely blow your load. That's right, I just said that. And I don't say outlandish things (on here at least), that's how serious I am. Hot shit. (Hint: black or white, standing tall.)

CRAZUKNIGHTS!
